In this lead guitar lesson, we’ll go over the five pentatonic scale shapes. These shapes are essentially the “Meat & Potatoes” of lead guitar. This is because they sound great over many styles of music, and are relatively easy to start improvising with.

  4. WRONG: ! Your picking pattern @14:00 descending should be down up down up….That way your pick will not be in the opposite direction…? Same should apply in reverse… Sending videos to my nephew who is learning and it sucks to learn picking pattern wrong…

  18. quick question; is it a D major chord or a G chord with a D shape ???? is it a C chord or a G chord with a C shape ??? Chords VS Shapes ??? I'm lost; never seen those chords before
